About

Suzan is a lesbian writer who lives with her wife in Eastern Canada.  She has several queer/lesbian poetic form books out, plus her first fiction: a lesbian dark romance Out in the Dark.  Her writing is always sapphic and her main characters are always and only lesbian.

Her writing tends to be dark and mature and nearly always contains content that could be triggering (substance use, sexual and language content warnings would nearly always apply).  Her poetic-form are particularly dark and often/usually deal with issues around "coming out."

Suzan has recently started suzandigh.substack.com where she will be exploring her process of found poetry writing, her fiction work-in-progress (currently a lesbian detective series), and exploring the process of bringing the LGBTQ+ experience out of the dark.

Oh, and she does her own cover art - one of her other pastimes is to create with acrylics...

On the Rocks

This dark romance lesbian love story follows Liz as she searches for happiness.  Her route involves alcohol and relationships that don't turn out the way she had hoped and takes her through Toronto, to the UK and back...

She does find her happily ever after, but the struggles to get there do involve some darker moments.

Content Warning: sexual content, language, substance use.
